Plans, develops and implements creative and exciting Resident Programs to meet the individual needs and interests within the community as well as through outside trips and events; includes providing one-to-one programming for residents who cannot participate in group setting. Responsible for meeting the Standards of Excellence for Resident Programs. Ensures' Resident Programs' mission and model the foundation of community programs. Ensures resident welcome and engagement protocols are in place. Manages volunteer program, including recruitment, training and supervising volunteers. Ensures daily, weekly and monthly calendar of events requirements are met. Ensures specialty programs are scheduled according to the Resident Program Annual Master Calendar. Ensures marketing, promoting and communicating material are of professional quality.Ensures the Community environment (including equipment and supplies) supports a whole-person wellness culture for resident engagement. Coordinates the transportation of resident to and from events outside the community. Ensures that Resident Programs meet all state, federal and other regulations. Participates in the review of individual residents' service plans and regularly documents resident program progress. Participate in discharge planning with other members of the management team. Monitors resident program budget equipment and supplies. Participates in annual resident satisfaction survey initiatives and addresses resident complaints and grievances. Responds appropriately to resident emergencies by calling or contacting appropriate internal and external parties according to the established protocol Assists with disaster management efforts and activities during evacuation. Directly supervises resident program assistants and/or driver; acts in supervisory capacity in the absence of the executive director as assigned.

ResponsibilitiesDirect experience with the developmentally disabled (adults 18 years old and above). Prepare the 30 day, semi-annual and annual Individual Program Plan of the clients/consumers. Works closely with the Program Director. Is involved in frequent routine contact with service coordinator, psychologists, behaviorists, residential administrators, ILS and conservators to clarify information. Primarily responsible for the accurate and secure storage and retrieval of a client’s health information. Spends an increasing part of the day working on the computer to process, store and retrieve information. Pays close attention to detail. Check charts and progress notes of clients/consumers regularly for proper documentation and regulation. Attend vendor’s fair 4 times a year at San Andreas Regional Center. Schedule meetings all year round for 135 clients/consumers. Conducts facility visits for prospects. Prepares SIR’s (special incident report) for licensing, SARC and Adult Protective Services report as needed. Able to juggle multiple priorities and meeting deadlines without compromising quality or confidentiality.I work in a very challenging environment and proud to say that I have provided a consistent positive attitude in more stressful situations since we work as a team.
