Featuring over 20 unique venues onsite Petco Park Events is a one-stop shop responsible for the coordination and execution of all special events within the organization. We work with clients from start to finish assisting with the full execution of the event from design/decor, working with in-house catering to create custom menus, staging/AV needs...whatever we can dream up with the client! Over 300 events per year range from:- Large Public Events: Concerts (Paul McCartney, Taylor Swift, Rolling Stones, Billy Joel etc.), The Links Golf Event, Monster Jam, Supercross, 2016 All-Star Game, Science Festival- Private Events: Corporate group opening and closing receptions, networking receptions, meetings, school dances, holiday parties- Internal Events: Pregame Festivals (Winefest, Beerfest, Party in the Park), Pre-Game and Post-Game Concerts, Sponsor Events, Community EventsMy specific role and responsibilities include:- Knowledge of all event spaces (capacities, rental rates, appropriate room configurations)- Work directly with the client (site visits, conference calls, email correspondence)- Create and prepare photo and informational decks to send to clients - Create schematics and site maps using Meeting Matrix and Social Tables - Work directly with internal teams including; Event Operations, Guest Services, Ballpark Security, Grounds Crew, Housekeeping, Engineering - Work directly with outside vendors; facilitate and manage vendor load in and load out- Manage paperwork for each event including vendor contracts and payments, necessary permitting, event insurance, and outstanding client payments- Up-sells products and services throughout the event process; maintaining client budget while maximizing event revenue - Create and disperse weekly Internal Events meeting report (includes full two week calendar, all upcoming event orders and schematics)

- Event Fulfillment - full coordination and management of smaller scale special events including game day events and non game day events (meet with clients, up-sell, communicate events with internal departments, run event, close vendor payments)- Create and disperse weekly Internal Events meeting report (includes full two week calendar, all upcoming event orders and schematics)- Assists with all department administrative duties including processing department paperwork, event contracts, vendor agreement forms and electronic filling on department hard drive- Manages event inventory and storage to include maintenance and organization of event décor (vases, lighting, props, furniture, etc)- Assists with all internal event requests and scheduling process- Maintains client contacts and sends thank you gifts - Assists with event sales process and fulfillment- Runs various errands related to event planning- Any other duties as assignedProficient in: Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Reserve Interactive, Meeting Matrix, Social Tables

- Participate in the set-up, execution and breakdown of Petco Park for all Padres home games and non-baseball events - Provide guests with directions to seating areas, restrooms, concession stands, novelty shops, and other Petco Park services and amenities- Provide guests safe, efficient, and effective transportation via wheelchair in a timely manner- Assist in the management and supervision of promotional giveaway distribution- Enforce ballpark policies and procedures- Other duties as assigned by Padres Management
