Responsible for the overall operation and administration of the laboratory. Plan, develop, organize, implement, direct and evaluate the laboratory’s operation and performance. Particulate in all managerial decisions and guide the operation of the laboratory, ranging from hiring of staff, staff training and evaluation, choice of methods, quality assurance, quality control, safety, budget, purchase of equipment, hours of operation, scheduling of staff and utilization management. Establish short- and long-term goals and allocate the appropriate resources. Ensure that the laboratory is enrolled in proficiency testing programs for the tests performed. Provide cost-effective administration of the laboratory. Foster a unified culture and promote the collaboration, cooperation, sharing of information and mutual teamwork.

Plan, organize, lead and control R&D activities. Research, formulate and develop new household cleaners & detergents. Manage all aspects of product development, from management or marketing requirements through theoretical solutions and lab prototypes, up to the final product scale-up. Responsible to achieve the desired performance in the new formulation and to meet the cost and timeline targets. Provide technical expertise and participate to all technical decisions.
