In my role at Xmartlabs, I specialized in backend development using Ruby on Rails to create robust APIs for web and mobile applications, delivering scalable and efficient backend solutions. I was responsible for creating and optimizing API endpoints, developing backend services, and performing unit testing to ensure high code quality and functionality. I integrated critical external services such as Nuvei for payment processing in real estate applications, as well as Zus and Tellescope for enhanced functionalities in healthcare applications focused on stroke rehabilitation. I leveraged tools like Docker for containerization, AWS for cloud management, and Sidekiq for background processing to enhance project scalability. I applied a variety of gems—including Active Admin, Cancancan, Pundit, Devise, and Redis—to address unique challenges and support complex business logic, utilizing RSpec for testing and ensuring secure user authentication through Devise. Additionally, I managed integrations and independently tackled technical challenges, applying my problem-solving skills to build and maintain essential features across diverse projects.
