Point Cloud Video QualityAdvanced 3D representations of the world are enabling more immersive forms of interaction and communication, and also allow machines to understand, interpret and navigate our world. 3D point clouds have emerged as an enabling representation of such information. A number of use cases associated with point cloud data have been identified and corresponding requirements for point cloud representation and compression have been developed.Compare the differences between Point Cloud metrics and Mesh metrics after compression.- Theoretical study of Point Cloud metrics, Mesh metrics along with the compression method for both cases and the TMC1V0 mechanism;- Understand the existing MATLAB scripts, implemented for the Point Cloud datasheets compression- Techniques and perform their customization for the proposed solution;- Compress the Point Cloud datasheet using Cloud Compare; - Transform the Point Cloud into a Mesh using Meshlab;- Choose the metrics for the Point Cloud and the Mesh and compare them;- Compare the results.
