Sold Medicare supplement over the phone, cold called 95% of clients, was responsible for gathering personal and confidential information from clients for application purposes. I was responsible for keeping my own files/records of each client. I was responsible for all my own mail out packages/contracts, also my own faxes, copies, emails, inbound problem calls, basically I was the agent and my own administrative assistant. I was licensed in 17 states with 9 insurance companies, so knowing the underwriting for each company was important for the purpose of know what company to place a client with, due to the health of the client. I was also responsible for making sure clients were not double billed for 2 different insurance premiums.

I was responsible for hiring housekeepers, training, inventory, checking rooms to make sure they were cleaned to above standard cleanliness. I also worked as a front desk agent, I was responsible for checking guest in and out of rooms, answering the telephone, booking rooms, etc. I also assisted the manager with scheduling each week for all employees. When I took this job this hotel was rated #4 on trip advisor, and after 6 months we took the #1 spot and held even after I left for 2 years.
