Liaison between the vendor geosteering team and the geology and drilling departments to ensure understanding of presented data, interpretation of the formation target zone with advice on future drilling targets. Review of pre-drill and pilot hole Wireline data. Real-time analysis of geosteering, LWD log data, mud and drilling daily reports with respect to forward target planning. Post job analysis of interpreted zone and use of azimuthal gamma-ray service with recommendations for following wells.

Consultation and due diligence on identified drilling technology companies for potential investment. Assessment of prospective investment companies. Full in-depth analysis of the technology with an emphasis on patentability, industry merit and investment risk.

Responsible for Real-Time drilling target definition of drilling of horizontal directional oil and gas wells:• Resistivity Modeling• Pre-job analysis for determining a geosteering strategy• Tool and technology selection with clients• Full job set-up, including real-time configuration with 3rd party LWD vendors• Execute the geosteering strategy during the drilling of the well in question• End-of-well wrap, including discussions and/or presentations to clients• Software demonstration and training to clients

In charge of eight new services to the field including Schlumberger's formation pressure while drilling service - StethoScope. Others included PeriScope resistivity, Ultra deep resisitivity, Logging while tripping services.Process entails providing detailed market analysis, defining requirements and detailing specifications and business models of the service. Once into development and field test, sales plans and pricing strategies were created.Development and training of sales and marketing staff for pressure services through training schools and seminars globally. Presentations to clients of new services.

Oversee and responsible for Wireline and Testing operations in Ecuador. Responsibilities included profit and loss statement, training and personnel, sales, marketing and QHSE for the country. The main objective was to increase and improve profitability of the operations and turnaround an initially negative loss business into a positive one. Through building a successful sales and marketing team and implementation of service quality standards, the team was able to turn a loss making business with only 4 clients and $400K revenue/month into a flourishing business with 15 clients and more than $3m revenue/month.

Lead Field Wireline electric logging engineer, BP operations, Colombia. Engineer in charge of field crews and engineers. Drill pipe and Wireline Fishing engineer and cased-hole perforations. Assisted Field Service Manager in his duties and as acting Field Service Manager during his vacation.

Performed duties of Wireline field engineer working in and around Lake Maracaibo, Venezuela. Responsible for electric log surveys and training and development of crew. Assigned several junior field engineers to mentor and train. Relief engineer for other Wireline crews. Wireline MDT (formation pressure) champion for the district, responsible for overseeing maintenance and reliability of the service.Project: Developed a small modular Wireline unit for remote / short notice jobs that resulted in an increased efficiency and reliability for call out jobs.

Attended training in Diepholz, Germany and Alexandra, Egypt and performed duties of Wireline field engineer on the offshore rigs in the North Sea. Job entailed leading a crew of 3 people and preparing and running dowhhole tools to run electric log surveys. Training and development of the crewmembers.
