Hello! I am the owner of Proof It - Proofreading and Editing Services and a member of the Chartered Institute for Editors and Proofreaders (CIEP). I work with authors of fiction, non-fiction, children's fiction, academic papers, blogs and more. My recent experience includes proofreading annual reports, business documents and clinical trial safety documentation. I have been trained to proofread academic writing, including the use of referencing and citations and I am familiar with the common style guides that universities expect students to follow. I can offer some aspects of formatting e.g. creating dynamic contents lists and lists of figures and tables. I have an awareness of the regional differences in spelling, punctuation and grammar so I can proofread documents in UK, US and Australian English.
