Senior Financial Analyst

• Ownership of the month-end close process under US GAAP for the Italian Entity reporting to the country and regional controller using Oracle applications.• Ensuring the accounts are accurate and correct by supervising and approving the tactical tasks and activities performed by Oracle’s global SSC in India as well as daily interaction with the local Italian team. • Review and approval of reconciliations at month end within a tight deadline.• Identification and analysis of main variances of the balance sheet and P+L.• Resolution of ad hoc queries from analysts in India, Italy as well as the different lines of business. • Initial review and migration of newly acquired companies into the accounts.• Completion of local statutory financial statements and assist during audits (e.g. Sarbanes Oxley, US GAAP and Local Italian GAAP)

• Provided input on the business requirements at the initial development stage of the financial systems (ERP5) in order to ensure it met our business needs. And subsequently facilitated in the successful transition of the accounts in-house. • Sole responsibility for the preparation of the monthly accounts,incorporating the reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts, budget analysis and cashflow forecast prior to review by the senior management and French joint venture owners.• Complete statutory reconciliations and returns on a timely basis.• Reviewing existing processes with team members, identifying areas for improvement and co-ordinating the implementation of these changes with emphasis on efficiency and strong internal controls• Liaised with external auditors regarding the audit sign off.• Involved in the planning, testing and implementation of a number of projects• Investigation and resolution of ad-hoc queries from operations directors and key outside stakeholders

• Preparation and review of statutory accounts & consolidated financial statements. Accounts prepared under IFRS and Irish GAAP.• Presentation of final accounts for final sign off with client and Partners.• Documentation and presentation of internal controls frameworks as part of a Sarbanes –Oxley project.• Review of special purpose reports group reporting and regulatory purposes highlighting internal control weaknesses observed, confirmations received and overall audit findings.• Planning and co-ordinating audit assignments.• Develop strong working relations with clients.• Manage multiple diverse jobs simultaneously, within time and budget, to client satisfaction. • Manage team responsibilities and assign tasks. • Review the work of other members of the audit team, including evaluating each team member through the performance appraisal system.
