Responsible for the Scholastic Teacher Community editorial, design and advertising sales teams; the design and production of the Education PLUS website and Scholastic’s educational magazines and solus supplements.Defined strategic direction of Scholastic’s Teacher Community and ensured smooth implementation of new systems, including documenting of procedures and the coaching and training of existing and new staff. Responsible for the communication and staff buy-in of new web systems across Scholastic business areas. Played an active role in defining the Scholastic website’s ‘voice’ and Scholastic Book Fairs marketing and PR. Responsible for the online marketing and maintenance of Scholastic’s e-commerce sites including Children’s Books, Book Fairs, Book Clubs and Education divisions.• Instigated website wiki;• Liaised between staff and management teams to ensure issues were dealt with pre-implementation;• Implemented the repurposing and addition of downloadable resources to the website, planned and implemented Scholastic’s ‘My Folder’. 75% of visitors to the www.scholastic.co.uk used My Folder;• Established the Scholastic Website User Group and devised and managed all user testing using Silverback.
