Current Role:I currently work at Harlow Printing as a Bindery Operative. Since starting this position I have operated the Horizon Collator which is used to manufacture the companies largest product. On a day to day basis I manage my workload, ensuring the product leaves my machine in a timely fashion and without error. I am responsible for gathering all of the components I need to carry out my jobs, including some machine maintenance. Although this is my main role, I can also drop in and do other finishing tasks including Drilling, Tipping and Packing.General information:I am a highly experienced manufacturing professional, with over 24 years of experience working in Production/Manufacturing for a Global Pharmaceutical business.I am a qualified Mental Health First Aider: Mental Health First Aid is an educational course which teaches people how to identify, understand and help a person who may be developing a mental health issue.This course has taught me how to recognise the signs and symptoms of common mental health issues and provide help on a first aid basis, and effectively guide people towards the right support services. Since the announcement of the site closure at Sanofi I have had to attend regular meetings with the Occupational Health Department regarding stress in the workplace and the wellbeing of the employees.Awarded a certificate in First Aid at work approved by Ofqual for the health and safety (First Aid) regulations 1981At present studying for Health and Social care level 3
