-Prioritizing and cutting incoming fabric sample rolls in a timely manner.-Watching for quality and design issues with new designs, and alerting the designer.-Receiving daily fabric sample roll deliveries, accounting for complete shipment per shipping invoices.-Creating labels for all outgoing samples.-Packaging and shipping all designers' samples to customers daily via FedEx, UPS, and USPS shipping software, often providing assistance to other associates in the mailroom when it is short-staffed.-Making yarn sample presentation books for designers, sales associates, and customers.-Inventory and order sample sets, sample yarn tabs, and pre-cut samples (1 yard cuts and smaller).-Inventory and order office supplies.-Organize the design showroom, and "mobile showroom" for presentations.-Daily or frequent use of Jomar, MS Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Photoshop.-Daily copying, scanning, faxing, and filing.-Additional tasks as asked, including special yarn or fabric presentations, locating samples not kept in an organized manner, and matching woven samples to customer swatches based on yarns used.-Requires extended standing; bending; repetitive lifting under 40 lbs, and occasional lifting up to 60; time management; ability to work independantly with minimal direction; attention to detail; measuring; communication (verbal and written); reading and following directions.
