Hubbard House is the primary Jacksonville shelter for victims of domestic violence. Their motto is: Every Relationship Violence-Free. They work to ensure safety for victims and their children, empowerment of victims, and social change through education and advocacy.

The Plantation Foundation was created in 2012 by the Board of The Plantation at Ponte Vedra to support the educational aspirations of its employees, and their children, through post-secondaryscholarship grants. The first three grants were announced in November, 2013. The Foundation recently received its 501(c)(3) certification

Women's Giving Alliance is an initiative of the Community Foundation of Northeast Florida. Its mission is to inspire the women of Northeast Florida to be strategic philanthropists and to improve the lives of women and girls through collective giving. This membership organization of 335 women pools their resources annually to fund nonprofits in their service area (Baker, Clay, Duval, Nassau and St. Johns Counties) who are doing promising work in the WGA focus area. The current focus area is mental health for women and girls.

Manage a process involving 20 committee members and 15 volunteer readers who assess 20-30 proposals submitted to the WGA annually seeking funding. The focus area for this year is mental health services for women and girls.

Director of Communications & Development. Responsible for fundraising appeals, including creating materials, formulating strategy, execution, gift tracking and acknowledgement; Oversees all donor events, including volunteer management of our 800-seat annual luncheon, and smaller, more targeted events; serves as webmaster and maintains the organization's Facebook presence, and creates or consults on all written materials except for teaching materials. Fundraising in FY10 exceeded prior year by 38%.

Chaired Capital Campaign; recruited 35 volunteers, maintained communication, coordinated multiple events, participated in dozens of one-on-one solicitations. Assisted in achieving goal of $6 Million raised. Served on the Board of Directors from 1993-200; Recipient of 1999 Gold Man Award.

Ran two successful benefits for this social service agency. Consulted with Board on capital and annual fund-raising.

Served as Class Parent, Book Fair Chair and ultimately President of this public school Parent Teacher Association

Practice included commercial paper, white collar crime, employment discrimination, contracts, securities law.

Pre-Trial Civil Litigation, created course materials and syllabus.

Practice included intellectual property, securities law, entertainment law; representative clients were Allstate and McDonald's.
