At my last job in the recovery field, I worked as a Recovery Navigator at Recovery Cafe of Clark County, a nonprofit organization that offers a healing community for people recovering from substance use and mental health challenges. In this role I worked with law enforcement and community agency's connecting individuals to services and resources. I hold Certifications as a Certified Peer Counselor (CPC) Washington State. Recovery Coach by the Connecticut Community for Addiction Recovery (CCAR).My core competencies includetrauma informed care, peer support, harm reduction, crisis intervention, and resource coordination. I use my lived experience and peer support skills to connect participants to services that meet their preferences, and needs such as harm reduction, mental health services, detox, treatment, financial resources, housing, and employment. I work with others to create a safe and supportive environment for recovery. My mission is to provide hope, compassion, and dignity to those who seek healing and transformation.
