As coordinator of Antigonish Culture Alive Paula completed government grant applications increasing the grant amounts provided to the organization. Initiated a by-weekly e-mail newsletter for the membership. Created an expanded board manual to provide information and guidelines to new and returning board members. Assisted with the annual art exhibit, Gathering of the Arts, by creating spread sheets to simplify communications with artists, creating programs, and assisting with graphics and pr. Worked with communications chair to complete a by-annual print newsletter.

First hired to work in Communications Paula was responsible for a weekly e-newsletter for the membership. She also wrote and distributed press releases, created graphic materials, and kept the membership and media lists up to date. When she added the General Manager responsibilities she worked with the Artistic Director on fundraising, both government and private. Bookkeeping and assisting with organization events. She oversaw the design of a new interactive web site and worked on the Atlantic Playwrights Catalog.
