DescriptifThis PhD thesis examines the transformation of psychosocial risk prevention approaches into tools for preserving workplace health. The research involves a qualitative study of various public organizations that have implemented psychosocial risk prevention approaches, as well as the collection and quantitative analysis of 1373 questionnaires administered to employees of a public organization. The results emphasize the role of meaningful action, autonomous motivation, and the satisfaction of autonomy, affiliation, and competence needs as essential variables for the success of psychosocial risk prevention approaches and the implementation of primary prevention mechanisms. The satisfaction of autonomy, affiliation, and competence needs also plays a significant role in achieving workplace well-being. This research thus presents novel theoretical contributions to human resource management that can inspire improved organizational practices.
