Even as a young girl, I have had a vested interest in helping others. Specifically, I have always been interested in the environment. My earliest memories consisted of me wanting to be a marine biologist and helping the animals in the ocean. That has translated into my life now. Even though my career of interest is different, my passions remain the same: helping those in need without payment. I hope that by going into business, I can help make the dreams of my younger self reality. I am currently studying Business Marketing at the University of Utah. I am interested in a career that pertains to social media marketing. I look forward to building connections and meeting peers or mentors in my intended field. I am also actively involved in giving back to the community and do so through outlets like my sorority who’s philanthropy is Make-A-Wish. My interests and current managerial position have given me skills that can help me thrive in a business environment. I am excited to expand upon these throughout my academic career.
