Transformations of Technology, deregulation of the horticulture industry and containerisation of shipping required many changes to the strategic and day-to-day supply chain operations. Tenure was approx. 3-4 years in each role.The HR&QM role was responsible for leading acquisition merger of two new North Island branches. I worked closely with other members of the Leadership team reporting directly to the GM to develop the People & Culture strategy and operations to deliver a range of development and future focused initiatives in the P&C work program. Learning and development pathways and operational workflows focused on designing and delivering alignment of leadership development, onboarding, change management of logistics practices, recruitment, health safety and wellbeing initiatives, employment relations, policy, processes and payroll activities. The QM role specifically included aligning policy, processes and meeting all regulatory reporting, auditing accreditation (ISO 9001:2000) for NZFSA and multi-customer service standards to meet global market access standards. A key achievement achieved was completing 6 NZQA Seafood Standards, then writing and implemented the 1999 Animal Products Act Risk Management Program for CSN, which became the first NZFSA Seafood Industry Risk Management Program for an export Coldstore in NZ.
