An experienced L&D professional heading up the L&D Department at Humberside Police. As a member of the HR Senior Leadership Team I am responsible for leading the Learning & Development service for the Force. Managing the delivery of a professional unit, developing and improving the L&D strategy and building capability at all levels. Pushing technological and digital boundaries whilst supporting operational and organisational priorities, working towards Humberside Police Plan on a Page.

L&D Business Partner representing Nottinghamshire Police and Derbshire Constabulary. Responsible for representing L&D at local and regional initiatives to ascertain training needs. Agreeing training priorities with senior stakeholders and ensuring rollout. Managing a Design team to ensure the latest innovative delivery methods are considered. Building networks working towards the L&D Strategy to include business cases, working groups and working more collaboratively across a region of 5 forces.

Also manage Crime Training to include ICIDP. Recently responsible for the Custody Portfolio and the Health business to include Patient Transportation Services.

Supported and delivered training to up to 60 hotels UK&Ireland. A combination in supporting general managers in HR functions and helping to design and deliver various training programmes such as Induction and Customer Service

Responsibility for running an 86 bedroom hotel with regards to all aspects.
