I have worked as an archaeologist for over 20 years holding a BSc in archaeological science from University College London and I have also studied MSc forensic archaeology. I specialise in pathological conditions in skeletal remains as well as blunt force trauma and ballistics. I have worked extensively as part of various projects including the identification of burial locations, excavation strategies, excavation and recovery of human remains in mass disaster and mass burials related to genocide. My archaeological specialities are Bronze Age burial practices, human evolution and European prehistory. I am also adept at identification and prioritisation, excavation strategies in both archaeological and forensic contexts and team management. My approach is logical and methodical. I have wide ranging experience in the retrieval of human remains in many contexts and I am proficient in the gathering of associated information.Much of my archaeological experience is in the construction industry and I have worked on several large scale infrastructure projects as well as smaller developments in roles ranging from consultant to archaeological site director.I also hold a diploma in forensic science, conflict resolution and a certificate in forensic psychology.
