St. Ann’s Skilled Nursing and Therapy is a wonderful place to work!

As the programming Director I ensure each resident has a more fulfilled life with enriching activities. I produce a monthly newsletter and activities calendar. Outside of work, I am an artist, I handcraft jewelry, play instruments and love to sing. I use all of my abilities to enrich the lives of the residents and promote a higher quality of life. It is an honor to dedicate myself to making the lives of the residents more fulfilled.

I started as the receptionist in this long-term care community and quickly moved into the office managers role. I was the first point of contact on the phone and when you entered the building. I made sure that all needed supplies for office use were ordered. I transitioned upward again into the Admissions role. I assisted families with the Medicaid process. I gave tours of the community and assisted families with the move-in process. I managed all move-in contracts, resident financial files, and input new resident information into the database. I verified health insurance benefits for our clients seeking our skilled unit benefits. I worked inquiry phone calls and referrals. I used Microsoft, excel, and publisher often.

I was the front desk customer service representative. I greeted all the customers making them feel welcome. I answered all inbound calls for the community. I gave tours of the community and made a commission on new move-ins. I was in charge of all resident files and all employee files. I performed HR duties and submitted payroll. I also was a life enrichment specialist and was in charge of a monthly newsletter.

I cancelled maintenance contracts for large and small companies. I used their contractual agreement to bill cancellation fees according to the terms and conditions. I would then contact customers to inform them of the completion of the cancellation of their maintenance contract and quote their cancellation fee to them for collection purposes.

As a Bridal Consultant I fitted each bride and bridal party in their dream wedding attire which included managing the order, pick-up of merchandise, and assisting them with a final fitting after alterations. I excelled in this position because of my creativity and ability to find solutions. Sales and Commission based pay.
