The Diverse Segments team focuses on promoting homeownership for low-to-moderate income and minority borrowers, which encompass a major portion of the first-time homebuyer market.I provide: consultative sales, analytics, fair lending/compliance insight, training, and business development support for clients of the National Lender Development sales division.

Lead implentation activities for the Diverse Segments team within the Correspondent business line. Represent the team on multiple projects and business initiatives as well as manage implementation for non-project related change. Responsible for Diverse Segments focused communications, marketing, and training. Responsibility & AccountabilityDevelop, review, edit, and distribute communications (internal and external) via various mediums including written and video formatsCreation of business development focused trainings and marketing materialsDevelop and maintain relationships with industry partners (Veterans Affairs, Rural Development, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, NAHREP, and AREAA) with a focus on development of joint training opportunities for Wells Fargo correspondent clients Collaborate with project managers, project teams, and business resources to ensure Diverse Segments inclusion and perspectiveDrive channel objectives on cross functional projects led by business partnersCoordinate post implementation planning, feedback process, and measurement against implementation objectives

Responsibility & Accountability• Responsible for overall management and risk oversight for the Correspondent client negotiated waiver approvals, as well as leadership of the third party repurchase function.• Managed correspondent client contracts, files, and client level data system updates• Managed correspondent delegated, negotiated guideline reviews, and bulk bid reviews.• Direct management and leadership of professional level analysts and team leads; establish and monitor goals including productivity and quality, implement policies and procedures, and manage business line risk.• Select, orient, and develop staff capable of meeting projected business needs; recommend and make decisions in personnel related matters such as employee performance reviews, performance improvement plans, and terminations• Create standard work processes and utilize continuous improvement model to ensure processes remain efficient and meet customer needsCommunication & Relationship• Partner with Mid-to-Senior level management in developing, directing, and implementing targeted business initiatives in order to execute business line and corporate directives• Act as a primary liaison with sales managers and senior management by providing an optimal balance of prudent risk mitigation practices versus sales orientation• Cultivate and manage relationships with key Credit Risk partners such as Repurchase Operations, Challenged Inventory, Capital Markets, Agency Relations, Structured Finance, Correspondent Operations, Sales, Servicing, Credit Policy, ERMG, Final Docs, and Legal• Versed in decision making that involves complex issues with broad implications across business lines; including decisions requiring independent judgment• Lead, participate, or consult in key risk management and companywide initiatives related to new program/product development and implementation ranging from compliance to new products or enhancement of existing products
