Dr. Paula V. Williams (nee Bridge), born in the beautiful Island of Jamaica. Growing up, at 6 years old, she thought of being a nurse, which she ultimately achieved. Her high school English teacher thought being a journalist was fitting for Paula because she was a prolific writer.Paula completed high school in Toronto, Canada, and after immigrating to the United States, she went on to pursue her Undergraduate, Graduate, and Post Graduate Education. She lives with her family in Mesa, Arizona, where she is deeply involved in leadership roles and community service.Dr. Williams is a registered nurse of 36 years, and holds a Master of Science in Nursing, a Master of Business Administration in Health Care Management, and a PhD in Public Health, graduating with honors.She is an Education Specialist at a major hospital in Phoenix, Arizona and an Adjunct Nursing Professor with Creighton University College of Nursing, and Aspen University College of Nursing. Her responsibility is to teach, train and prepare her students for advancement in their career path. She is the President and Founder of Between Nurses Foundation, Inc. which celebrates, provides support, and mentorship for nursing professionals. She enjoys mentoring nurses and encouraging high school students to consider nursing as a career option. Dr. Williams coined the phrase "Dare to Care, become a nurse." As a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church. she is a Board Member, Elder, and Women’s Ministries Leader, and believes that as long as there is 'one homeless person' she is blessed.
