Oak Island was a creative team of people specializing in the materialization of experiential events, products, consulting and other services. We produced many of America’s flagship holiday events and were the world’s gold standard in haunted attraction design and implementation. We also specialized in many theming products, various special events, creative consulting and attractions. In 2017 we launched our Beyond the Barrels brand to support the spirits industry in planning branded and themed events.As Director of Human Resources for this creative force, my role was to originate and lead Human Resources practices and objectives that provided an employee oriented, high performance culture that emphasized empowerment, quality, productivity, and goal attainment, and the recruitment of and ongoing development of a dynamic and creative workforce.

In my role as the Chief Operations Officer for Integrity HR, I was responsible for overseeing all Consulting Services and our client relations, with the goal of providing an excellent client experience and creating a great consultant experience.As Director, Consulting Services I was responsible for leading and providing comprehensive HR management, advisory, and consultancy services to staff and management of Integrity HR clientsAs the HR Services Manager – Outsourcing, I was responsible for the management of HR outsourcing accounts and the outsourcing process, outsourcing client setup and initiation, as well as overall supervision and quality control of HR Service accounts. In my role as a Senior Consultant at Integrity HR, I provided a number of HR Services, including recruitment initiatives, human resource management activities, compensation plan benchmarking and design, educating clientele in managing the FMLA process, policy development, benefits administration, cobra administration, performance evaluations, and conducting new hire onboarding and employee integration programs.

As HR Manager for HISC, I was responsible for the HR function for one branch of the company, including executive leadership.

I served for eleven years as the Director of Human Resources for Parts Unlimited, Inc., a manufacturer of restoration automotive interiors located in LaGrange, Kentucky. In this role I was responsible for all human resource functions for our manufacturing facilities, including two out of state facilities for a number of years.

As the research assistant, I collected and prepared research used by the senior consultants to develop crisis communication plans for clients.
