Managed the Information Technology department for a growing company that builds custom environments for exhibit conferences and corporate interiors.Notable Accomplishments Include:• Led the company through a major BlackCat ransomware attack the week after I was hired. Implemented massive remedial security and cultural changes after the complete systems restoration and recovery.• Developed and executed an IT Strategic Plan to Mature the department. Member of the Executive Leadership Team reporting to the President with direct communication to the Board of Directors.Notable Accomplishments Include:• Developed and implemented annual IT Strategic Plans to meet short- and long-term company and departmental strategic goals.• Updated the company’s internal servers from old substandard hardware to more capable servers suitable for the highly virtualized environment.• Successfully negotiated the procurement of the company’s namesake domain (esco.com) and led the migration and integration of multiple separate websites into one platform.• Created the company intranet which fostered a centralized place for Key Performance Indicator (KPI) metrics, data analytics, company information and internal communication & collaboration.• Developed an external partner data exchange platform (EPDE) that facilitated the secure transfer of client submitted patient leads and opportunities. • Conducted biannual cybersecurity audits with an external firm with an emphasis on ensuring compliance with 23 NYCRR 500, PCI DSS, and HIPAA.

Led the IT and PM functions for a technical staffing organization. Notable Accomplishments Include:• Negotiated multiple vendor Service Level Agreement (SLA) contracts for company infrastructure including computer hardware, internet access, website hosting, voice over IP (VOIP) phones, cloud storage, customer relationship management (CRM) software and Microsoft licensing.• Implemented a company disaster recovery plan that enabled uninterrupted fully remote office operation if necessary. This project included a fully automated offsite cloud backup plan for all critical company files.• Managed a multi-year project that explored the feasibility of the company partnering with CenturyLink to subcontract internet fiber installations in Minnesota and potentially nationwide.• Represented the company at numerous technology trade shows every year including the MHTA Spring Conference, the MHTA Tekne Awards, the Medical Device & Manufacturing show, Robotics Alley, Real-Time & Embedded Computing Conference, IoT Fuse and the Geek-a-Palooza.

Led the Business Operations group for Data & eBiz (database & middleware) Services with 12 direct reports. This group was responsible for managing work in-take, queue and resource management, operations control reporting (status and metrics), automation, compliance, budgeting, licensing and business unit relationship management for the entire department consisting of 275 staff (220 FTEs) in 21 distinct locations and a departmental budget of $22M.
