The Community Engagement Manager oversees all facets of the volunteer experience and recruitment of girls and adults in their assigned geographic area. The Community Engagement Manager is accountable for representing and extending Girl Scouting in the community through networking, collaborative efforts and presentations, to ensure the Girl Scout program is.

Facilitate programs throughout the Eastern Missouri Council for students’ grades KG-12th on topics of anti-violence education and self-esteem/girl empowerment and unity. Collaborate with team members to create unique and engaging curriculum for a variety of presentations. Effectively utilize community resources and partners to help reach more girls.

Case managed more than 80 teens, guided them through the prenatal medical process, and empowered them with resources for birth and post-partum care. Conducted prenatal intake, ensured timely receipt of services, and coordinated schedules for numerous doctors and health services. Facilitated education programs in the community on topics such as birth.

Created activities and Curriculum for elementary school’s Positive Behavior Intervention Programs. Partnered with schools to provide transitional support to first generation American students.

Each program day immerses the students into a different issue in the region, giving them the opportunity to connect and learn from community leaders, collaborate with their peers and put their leadership skills into action.
