I confidently deliver complex multiple stakeholder projects in a calm and approachable manner, ensuring excellent results in a professional working environment.I provide project management, management consultancy and event management and strategy services for clients including the British Museum, the British Iraqi Friendship Society and the Society for Arabian Studies.

Managed a programme of over 90 events a year, prioritising and scheduling the time scales and resources for each one, working on up to 10 large scale events at any one time. This included preparing and monitoring the museum-hosted events budget (£300 000). Designed and implemented a comprehensive process enabling all stakeholders (internal and external) to contribute effectively to large prestigious events. Also reviewed and redefined the accreditation documentation for Museum Accredited Event Contractors. Events included:• The Ceremony of Remembrance (the culmination of a public day commemorating the 200th anniversary of the Parliamentary Abolition of the Transatlantic Slave Trade).• The British Museum Guardian Public Forums• Annual Trustees’ and Patrons’ Dinners• Opening receptions for all major exhibitions• State Visits

Planned and delivered the UK National Science Week including publicity, marketing, sponsorship, partnerships and a new flagship project each year. Developed the Spring into Science project for National Science Week 2004 which was an extremely successful partnership with the BBC regions and the Woodland Trust.
