Each semester, arrange online course offerings according to degree rotations and enrollment demand; secure instructors for online courses; prepare the online course for publication. Assist with the scheduling of ITV and dual credit courses. Assist faculty in the design, development, and delivery of online instruction; oversee and communicate regularly with online instructors keeping them current on all aspects of distance education, requirements, compliance, deadlines, etc.; evaluate online courses to evaluation rubric and keep detailed records of the rubric reviews of online courses by the Academic Standards Sub-committee, establish the review rotation, select courses to be reviewed, schedule the committee meetings, and meet with faculty whose course has been reviewed. Develop content for and present faculty training sessions about the pedagogy of online learning, learning management system (LMS) topics and effective use of educational technologies. Prepare content for and present at fall and spring in-service meetings. Teach online and face-to-face professional development classes and workshops on the latest distance education instructional methods to improve student-learning outcomes.
