Currently Deputy Headteacher at Ribblesdale High School responsible for curriculum development, assessment and all aspects of EdTech within school, encompassing a full one-to-one device rollout to 1400 students. Also lead the North West EdTech Hub.In the senior leader role at Ribblesdale, have been instrumental in securing a number of awards and accolades including Microsoft Showcase School, Education Foundation EdTech 50 Award and DfE EdTech Demonstrator School. Fulfil a dual role, working closely with Microsoft and other partners, to improve tech readiness in a wide range of schools and colleges across the UK. Primarily focused on developing strategy and supporting organisations in their use of EdTech, both within the classroom and beyond. Work alongside partners such as HP, BT Business and Virtue Technologies, to leverage their capacity to support schools with EdTech transformation.Delivered workshops and keynote speeches at a number of EdTech focused conferences, including the annual BETT show, BESA EdTech Roadshows and at numerous EdTech focused events. A background in engineering and technical project management. Career began at BP as an Electrical Engineer, which encompassed supporting a range of chemical process projects. Followed by Technical Project Management, within BNFL and DXC Technologies (CSC), leading on the roll-out of technical engineering and IT transformation projects with multidisciplinary teams.
