Over my career, I have developed a superior understanding of investment strategies including mutual funds, ETFs, separate accounts, and variable annuities. I have built programs for retail and wealthy clients and integrated successful strategies across business lines including brokerage, investment management, and trust. While I have gained a vast amount of strategic and technical expertise, I feel my biggest strength is the ability to build relationships, problem solve, network, influence and deliver results.My career started in public relations and marketing, which served as the perfect foundation for that moment when I found my true passion – investments and wealth management. I cut my teeth in the industry helping to build a bank broker-dealer (from scratch) that ultimately became one of the most successful programs in the industry, consistently achieving double digit revenue growth and in the top 10% of regional bank programs. I then moved into the asset management business and built a proprietary complex – including mutual funds and ETFs – that grew to over $5 billion in 10 years (a compound annual growth rate of 8%, against an industry average of 6%). I also ran a broker-dealer that served as legal distributor for a variety of mutual funds and have successfully integrated a distribution strategy across all major channels.I then moved to Comerica Trust for two years and led a national team of Trust Specialists who partner with all major broker/dealers, wirehouses and RIAs to deliver trust services to their clients. I decided I missed the broker/dealer world so I just joined Cuna Brokerage Services, Inc as Director of Product Strategy.
