I write numerous articles The Tablet, the only Catholic newspaper in New York City. Many of my articles have won awards from the Catholic Media Association. I cover breaking news, features and write in-depth analysis pieces for the newspaper and its website, www.thetablet.org. In addition, I created, developed and wrote original series "View from the Pew" and "Nun Better." I take photos on all assignments and shoot iPhone videos for Current News, the Diocese of Brooklyn's nightly news program.

I wrote articles, contributed headlines and captions, and took high quality photographs for the Brooklyn Daily Eagle, the borough's only daily newspaper, and for www.brooklyneagle.com, the paper's popular website. I was a general assignment reporter and served as the politics editor for the Home Reporter, a weekly newspaper owned by the Brooklyn Daily Eagle. I wrote a special series, "In Public Service," an in-depth look at elected officials at state and city levels. In addition, I promoted www.brooklyneagle.com and www.brooklynreporter.com by posting links to articles on social networking sites (Facebook, twitter, etc.) on a regular basis throughout the day, helping to draw traffic to the website.

I worked side by side with the news editor, planning each issue of the Bay Ridge Eagle, a weekly publication owned by the Brooklyn Daily Eagle. I composed layouts and wrote headlines and captions. I contributed numerous articles each week. I also created and reported on three exclusive series, "Real Women of Bay Ridge," "Neighbors Making News," and "Voice of Experience."
