Global Travel Ventures (GTV) is a rail ticketing startup aiming to reduce train fares for customers. Their main product is the split ticketing website https://www.ticketclever.com/. For this role, I delivered the frontend for a greenfield CRM application for handling customers from their main ticketing website. The frontend was built using a combination of React.js, jQuery, jQuery Validate, Twitter Bootstrap, NPM, Bower and Grunt.

My role was primarily as a Javascript Developer to build and enhance internal tools used by development teams for QA purposes. This included enhancing a bookmarklet tool for SEO testing, enhancements for a bookmarklet tool for accessibility testing and also building a Node.js web service for testing web pages for mobile friendliness. Secondarily, I supplied consultancy and auditing services to various teams around Apple on accessibility issues based on WCAG, WAI-ARIA and Apple’s own accessibility standards. Worked on the University’s Systems Futures Programme to overhaul existing internal applications, mainly as a front-end specialist supporting SCRUM teams in user interface/experience and JavaScript related issues.
