I am currently working as a professional Career Development Consultant for the MAS National Careers Team in SA. I mentor, coach and advise absolutely any client (no eligibility criteria) to achieve their career pathway. This is delivered as a professional and focused one on one consultation including a career assessment, individual career plans, job seeking skills and tools, links to appropriate resources and contacts, and registration with MAS National to use the MAS jobs board if the client is interested in Apprenticeships or Traineeships. I also deliver presentations and/or workshops around career and employment topics for groups, high schools, DES and WFA sites, career expo's, community and/or employment programs, councils, RTO's, GTO's and more. As such I build effective and enduring relationships with a variety of stakeholders to ensure our complimentary program is being utilised to its fullest potential.My last role saw me working with and for the over 40 cohort during the process of career change. I was the appointed Career Advisor for South Australian clients, RTO's, businesses and the employment industry network. This included providing a professional service to my clients and also building affective relationships with multiple stakeholders. When required I would also support some of the other contracted states. As such I have a strong understanding of the requirements of government contracts and the essential element of any employment, communication.As a previous Training Manager I have overseen and coordinated a team of contract trainers and maintained relationships with all stakeholder clients. I have also had the opportunity to develop and write training resources. Previously I have worked within the Employment Services sector, training and engaging long term unemployed clients in both accredited and non- accredited soft skills to enable successful job application skills to create employment outcomes. As a Career Advisory Mentor to the ADF Transitions Office I played a part in enabling military personnel leaving the forces to comfortably transition over to the civilian sector of employment through career planning and/or further training.With all of these skills what is it that you think I can do for you ?
