A Midwest native deeply rooted in Southern California, she is drawn to the open and organic beauty of the West, with her approach to design further inspired by different cultures, destinations and her favorite boutique hotel experiences.An entrepreneur armed with more than 20 years of experience starting and owning multiple interior design business ventures, she has built an impressive list of clients that includes celebrity artists, musicians and interior designers, as well as private and commercial real estate investors, property management companies and restaurateurs.Paula recognized well over a decade ago that, while the hospitality industry had been successful in delivering experiences vacationers craved, it did not anticipate preferences would outgrow the standard room-and-mini-bar experience exposed by the vacation rental phenomenon. Hence, Paula launched Hotelements to bring together the best of both worlds. Carving out an entirely new niche she coined “Vacation Interiors,” where she began designing curated, immersive spaces that evoked an elevated feeling of home away from home—only better. Since then—particularly with the demand for non-traditional short-term stays in desirable locales skyrocketing as millions of professionals embrace their option to work remotely from anywhere—she has been helping a wide range of clients and investors break into a profitable new territory and market opportunities. As sensitive to interior spaces as she is sensible, Paula has the innate ability to identify the distinct characteristics and style of each client to curate a branded, immersive guest experience across every property. One that is magical and unforgettable.Paula relocated from the coastal beach town of San Clemente to the California desert to accommodate a growing client list that now includes Queer Eye’s Bobby Berk.
