My main task was to answer customers via phone and e-mail, addressing doubts and concerns about our client service, helping travellers to better experience their bookings specifically by being the point of contact between them and hoteliers. Escalate calls appropriately and provide to customers a friendly, personal and positive experience by evaluating their needs and determining best options. In this role, I was responsible to manage time efficiently, as well as prioritize abilities in order to resolve conflict, issues, and complaints.

In the first three months of the internship, at the Politics section, I wrote news for the website. From February I was included in the Society team and started writing news and articles — for the website and the paper edition — about health, education, business, science, technology, and lifestyle. Main activities developed during the internship: reading news; searching information on the Internet (institutional sources, corporate websites, communications agencies, and other media channels); doing interviews; keeping up with political speeches and parliament debates.
