Always a passionate reader and a freelance writer, I created my first book blog, Curl Up & Read, in 2012. I'm currently a freelance editor, beta readers, Goodreads Group Moderator, NetGalley Professional Reader, and a member of Romance Writers of America. I have a special interest in marketing and SEO; in 2014, I completed three post-graduate courses in advanced internet and social media marketing at the University of San Francisco. I am currently writing my first book series, Turning Points. Book 1, Where Angels Sleep, is a dark but ultimately inspirational romance dealing with issues of faith, fate, destiny, loss and redemption.I am also a masters-prepared Registered Nurse, licensed in California, with a broad background in clinical practice and nursing administration, having worked in a variety of healthcare settings. These include community-based acute- and long-term care facilities as well as highly integrated healthcare systems. I am experienced in all aspects of medical staff operations and administration, including continuing medical education, peer review, quality management, risk management, accreditation/regulatory compliance, utilization review and case management. Born and raised near the beaches of southeastern Virginia, I now live in Mendocino County, California with my husband Ray, a couple of neurotic tabby cats, and a 3-year-old Greyhound named Willow.
