The U-District Food Bank provides food to almost 1,200 families per week. I am a proud member of the Board of Directors and served as the Chair of the 2014, 2015, and 2016 "Take a Bite Out of Hunger" Auctions which raised the record setting amounts. I currently serve as Board President and oversee a board of approximately 17 community members.

As a member of the UW School of Medicine Student Affairs team, I promote and coordinate student programs, activities, and events through creating presentations, securing speakers, creating agendas, and tracking rsvp’s. Major events include coordinating the Clinical Transition Ceremony (“White Coat Ceremony”) for second year medical students, Medical School Honors Program banquet, Orientation, Match Day celebration, and other weekly events. I also serve as the point of contact for the Associate Dean for Student Affairs and manage her busy calendar.

UW Office of Regional and Community Relations:Support the Deputy Director of Regional and Community Relations with community relations, scheduling logistics, social media, and general office support. UW Department of Psychology Advancement Coordinator:Assisted with organization and day-of logistics for the 2015 Edwards Lecture Series regarding inequities and inequalities in our communities. Also did gift processing and tracking for the Advancement team.UW Combined Fund Drive Campaign Assistant:Through providing leadership and support to over 85 campaign coordinators for the University of Washington Combined Fund Drive, the workplace giving program at the UW, we are working to raise over $2 million dollars over the course of the 4-month campaign. I provide daily support to campaign coordinators through event planning, public speaking, coordination of presentations, and team building events.

I lead all aspects of food procurement for the 2012 Seattle Veterans Stand Down event. I reached my goal of procuring delicious and nutritious morning snacks, a hearty brown bag lunch, and additional snacks for the 400 veterans who attended and nearly 200 other event volunteers, all on a budget of $0.

Our office represented individuals who have been injured at no fault of their own. While managing a case load of over 50 clients, I worked hard to ensure that our clients are receiving the medical care and medical coverage needed to recover from their injuries - physically and financially. Responsibilities included everything from the initial client intake, to daily file management duties, to drafting demand for settlement letters.

I graduated from the Evans School in June of 2011 and look forward to using the knowledge that I have gained to help improve the lives of other through community development, civic engagement, social justice, food justice, and access to affordable housing.

Each year CityClub works to do a public campaign to explore civic engagement. The theme for the 2010 Community Matters Campaign was "Public Trust" and the Campaign worked to explore every avenue of how people feel about trusting their neighbors, city, and government. As the intern for the Campaign, I worked to organize Community Dialogues where groups of people came together to have a discussion, lead by a trained facilitator, about how they view public trust.

Worked as the Assistant Compliance Analyst for the Affordable Housing Program at the Federal Home Loan Bank. The department provides grants to help build affordable housing in the Bank's district. Managed compliance matters for over 300 Affordable Housing Projects and ensured timely responses to compliance documents.
