Recently graduated from California State University, Stanislaus with a BA in Communication Studies with a Public Communication and Media focus and a BA in Ethnic Studies. As an undergraduate, I wrote, edited and translated, in both English and Spanish, stories for CSU Stanislaus' student run newspaper, The Signal. I mainly focused on events and news that revolved around the Hispanic community. Previously, I was an assistant manager at Tilly's. I trained new employees, assisted customers with any inquiries, and helped execute store sales and floor visual goals. Additionally, I served as Co-President of Stanislaus State's MEChA chapter, a nationwide student organization, where I have planned social justice campaigns and organized and informed communities. I am interested in pursuing a career in public relations, media and storytelling, where I can continue advocating for underrepresented communities.
