Ms. Schuster has been an environmental consultant since 2004. Her experience includes environmental site assessment, remediation, risk assessment, Record of Site Conditions and project management. Paula’s projects have included complex contaminated soil and groundwater issues such as chlorinated compounds, offsite impacts, environmental sensitive sites, and various remedial techniques. The following is a short summary of her experience: • Completing Phase I, II, and III Environmental Site Assessments, remediation, development of risk management strategies and remedial action plans, and regulatory reporting.• Managing projects involving the identification, delineation, remediation, and/or risk assessment of petroleum hydrocarbon, chlorinated solvents, and metals- contaminated sites.• Managing complex projects including coordinating multi-disciplinary project staff and contractors, liaising with clients and regulators, developing and managing schedules and budgets, complying with federal, provincial, and municipal regulatory requirements, conducting data analysis and interpretation, and preparing reports for client and ministry submission.More recently, she’s excelled in completing Phase One and Two ESAs in accordance with O.Reg. 153/04 to support the submission of Record of Site Conditions. A number of these projects have also required Risk Assessments (RA), including the 2016 Modified Generic Risk Assessment (MGRA) format.
