As a first-generation professional, daughter of immigrants, and a woman who has built a career in the male-dominated industry of tech, being a champion of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) in the workplace is second-nature to me. My passion for DEI and advocating for women and other under-represented groups led me to co-found 2 employee resource groups (ERGs), both at Insight and VMware, with the mission of connecting, empowering, and elevating women. The groups have been successful in hosting numerous events, driving key initiatives to promote awareness of issues impacting women in the field of technology/professional services, and in recognizing and celebrating the accomplishments of the many talented women in the organization.
