Role primarily focused on targeting and fostering key strategic and operational partnerships internally, externally and across government bodies, aimed at optimising cost, use and impact of the national office estate.

Member of SLT and lead for contract and property efficiency matters within the Estates and Facilities service. Focussed on building and sustaining the right level of capability and capacity within contract and supply chain management, and working to deliver an efficient Estate through engagement and data.

Lead on the identification and delivery of Property efficiencies across the national Estate, focusing on strategic and operational effectiveness, value for money, and performance.

Working to support organisations in achieving a bespoke Property and Workplace management solution that covers the full occupancy life-cycle – ensuring a financially efficient, compliant and customer focused approach.

To lead on the design and delivery of Facilities Management services across the Council's estate, establishing a clear strategic vision for the service that considers customer and stakeholder needs, service innovation, and value for money; together with management and oversight of Property's services to schools trading arm and Workplace Management service. To take a lead Property role in the newly formed Orbis partnership, covering East Sussex, Surrey, and Brighton and Hove, in supporting the design and transition to an integrated service model, helping to create the environment to succeed through proactive leadership and management.

To lead and manage the Corporate Accommodation service, its teams and associated budgets. To develop and implement an effective Facilities Management services strategy; tactical and strategic management of outsourced corporate FM contracts; and the implementation of safe, compliant and flexible office accommodation linked to Agile working.In addition, the development of effective business continuity arrangements for critical Property services and support with business transformation through the development and delivery of creative Property solutions and support services.
