As the Executive Director of Human Resources, I am responsible for all aspects of human resources and employee management of an executive level organization consisting of over 2,000 employees, which trains and educates over 18,000 students annually. In my capacity as director, I achieved the executive leadership’s vision by helping transform our organizational structure over several years to continue accomplishing our objectives under constrained human resources and financial capital. I led the planning and execution of a recruiting conference to increase the onboarding of several specialized employee positions critical to the functioning of Army Special Operations teams.

I was responsible for the Army's Chief of Staff and Vice Chief of Staff, the Director of Army Staff and Vice Director of Army Staff regarding human and logistical resources, emergency response protocol, safety and other support functions. I planned, rehearsed, and executed emergency response preparation rehearsals for the Chief of Staff of the Army; piloted the manpower survey for reduction of the Army Headquarters staff; and updated and codified the procedures for the Chief of Staff of the Army's emergency response with the Pentagon’s Emergency Response protocol resulting in executive Army leadership able to successfully continue working in any environment and location.

Fort Huachuca, Arizona

As the Director of Human Resources, I was responsible the human resources management of over 3,400 employees. I supported and participated in the continual overseas employment of teams ranging from 150 people to over 600. I was responsible for all matters governing the organization’s human resources including overseas readiness, morale and welfare, and tracking and support to all those who were injured. In preparation for our employees to work overseas, I helped to set up the organizations support element in Arizona to be the conduit of information and resources. Additionally, I oversaw the movement of over 200 members of our workforce permanently transfer from Arizona to Texas.

Wiesbaden

As the Director of Human Resources, I was responsible the human resources management of an over 1,500 person workforce dispersed over 22 locations in four European countries and working in Southwest Asia and Africa. I visited many of the locations to ensure onsite human resources staff provided employees the requisite support and provided for any resource shortages. Additionally, I oversaw the movement of over 800 members of our workforce permanently transfer from Darmstadt, Germany to Wiesbaden, Germany. I was also in charge of the successful integration of our organization's safety program, sexual assault response assistance, and public affairs engagements.

Served as an Infantry officer as a leader, supervisor, and commander in various locations and in several different roles highlighted by leading my organization several times in austere and dangerous overseas environments. My assignment culminated as the officer-in-charge of operations overseas and accountable for over 4,400 US military employees and 15,500 Iraqi Soldiers. My daily responsibilities included ensuring all subordinate organizations had the necessary resources and support to successfully and safely complete their required tasks. I took pride in what I would consider my number one priority, ensuring the safe return of my employees. That entailed putting their health and welfare at the forefront of what I do; to train and educate them well; and if required, ensure their rapid response and movement to areas of overseas conflict, and natural disaster response in any part of the United States when needed.
