Voice actor.....whatever you call it, BOY do I love it!Maybe you've heard me as the singing Cowardly Lion of Oz ornament from Hallmark, narrating that (Earphones Award-winning!) audio-book you just listened to, yelling from the rooftop on that national radio commercial, in Marvel’s hit "Shang-Chi and the Legend of the 10 Rings”, as the Dad in that dubbed hit show on Netflix (or Hulu, or Amazon...) or as Uatu, The Watcher in the Marvel Super War videogame...ornarrating that documentary a British Professor, a French baking pan, a German scientist,the Pope (!),the ominous "Release the Kraken" voice for Kraken Rum…or just that friendly doctor explaining symptoms of diabetic ketoacidosisMy voice-over work includes film, TV, documentaries, audiobooks, video games, national commercials, ADR/dubbing, animation, corporate videos, narrative, and even dramatic roles such the title role of Shakespeare's Macbeth and the King/Ghost in Hamlet in abridged audio versions.In my spare time I dabble in theater acting and an occasional on-camera gig, but that's just for fun. VO is what I do. Performing in both musical and non-musical roles, I have appeared Off-Broadway, in Festivals, Equity Showcases, Shakespeare, classics, and new works.I was an opera singer for about a dozen years, singing leading roles across the U.S. & Europe. Highlights include singing Papageno in The Magic Flute in the Caribbean, Horace Tabor in a performance of the 40th Anniversary production of “The Ballad of Baby Doe” at Central City Opera, and making my recital debut at Carnegie Hall. I finally put my degree in Journalism from New York University to use when I wrote "So You Wanna Sing in Germany?" a book for young singers who want to sing in the German "Haus" system. For corporate and commercial work, my strength lies in finding just the right "voice" for my clients: narrator, friendly authority figure, "guy next door" etc.As a singer I am a true Bass-baritone; from dark and silky bass depths to ringing baritone top.I truly love what I do, and you will love working with me.
