Sales Operations Business Strategy - Special Vehicle Operations (Svo)
Created and managed all global reporting on all SVO vehicle/bespoke paint sales/forecasts and product positioning.Responsibilities included:Product Knowledge: Created product portfolios which are then circulated to senior stakeholders to help expand their knowledge, often prior to beginning the sales forecasting process. To do this I made sure to learn both commercial and engineering aspects of each SVO vehicle so to fully understand how to forecast, negotiate and segment respectively.Sales Forecasting: Created and managed the SVO retail, wholesale and bespoke paint forecasting (i.e. strategic planning/budget setting) process. This involved extensive primary research, harnessing historic data insights/trends and extensive product knowledge to forecast demand. I also forecasted competitor sales demand based on historic volume and perceived market trends.Senior Stakeholder Engagement/Negotiation: As the global point of contact for SVO sales forecasting, I treated regional/market Directors as ‘customers’ where I project manage their bespoke requirements so all parties can agree on forecasted budget positions. This helped to ‘sell’ SVO internally and aided negotiation processes, even justifying business cases of pre-release vehicles.Product/Vehicle Segmentation: Created the initial vision and the ruleset for justifying what competitors are directly up against current and future SVO models.
