As a site manager my role consists of of working on high end retail refurbishments ,from H Samuels,Breitling watches, Bars, Hotels, Office and Leisure fit-outs nationwide with a team of highly skilled trades men ,Reporting to a contracts manager on a weekly basis ,Chairing meetings and ensuring Health and safety is carried out to the highest standards.

My role as a site manager his overseeing projects from shopfitting to new build works ,liasing with the clients, architects, sub-contractors and pec staff .making sure that all projects run on time and stay within the propposed budgets and within programme, Taking care of welfare ,induction,ordering of all materials relevant for each different project inclusive of plant

As a site manager my role was the overseeing of a new ford car showroom (new build) , i would report to my contracts manager on a weekly basis in regards of production, site issues, health and safety matters and reviewing the programme on a daily basis , but my main role was organising site works ,from ordering materils and plant ,to liasing with site staff ,subcontractors, architects, structual engineers,chairing site meetings and the general everyday running of a safe site.

I was brought in to build there first ever project from ground level , this was a steel framed cladd ford car showroom located in perrybarr west midlands, my role was to set out the footprint of the building along with the engineer ,this involved forming a pilling matt for piles to be inserted at a depth of 6meters as the ground was unstable and contaminated (450 tonne of cntaminated soil was removed) Setting out for new drainage and 8meter x 4meter antenuation tank along with petrol interceptors.279 & 39 works ,road adoption and highway management.setting out of MOT bay , ordering of concrete,all materials related to the project,chaired meetings,liased with ford management(James Hinton) ,Architect,and repoted to a contracts manager on a weekly basis
