Development, co-ordination and implementation of a National Continuous Improvement strategy to achieve Safety, Quality, Cost and Delivery objectives across Australian and New Zealand manufacturing sites to deliver savings in excess of $40m through the elimination of internal process waste and improve quality performance year on year by 50%.Build, manage and mentor the Asia Pacific improvement team to help achieve site, state and divisional objectives. Management of all operational projects including contingency planning, capital planning and operational improvements. These includes strategic projects to better service the customer base, implementation of capital equipment and the development of business diagnostics systems that direct improvement projects to deliver objectives.To lead and support diverse strategic projects to deliver sustainable improvements in operational performance and capability at individual and multi plant levels across the entire group of sites throughout Asia Pacific.

Initially a graduate Engineer where I passed through the 2 year development programme to become a Specialist Engineer, with immediate responsibility within vehicle manufacturing. Various rotating roles in Production Control, Vehicle Manufacturing, Quality, Product Development and Purchasing Supplier Production Management. The final role was held in the European Head Office, Brussels; Project Planning and Management (PPM) Division.During my career at Toyota I was assigned to a Japanese mentor to guide my development that would shape my experience and knowledge in accordance with the Toyota Production System and embracing Continuous Improvement. - Project Management for New Model Introduction.- Development of Supplier's to enable stability of supply.- Control and management of engineering changes for current production models.- Manufacturing principles practised daily; JIT, Jidoka, Heijunka, Standardised Work, Kaizen and Practical Problem Solving
