CurrentTransportation Planning: I work with Native American Tribal Governments to develop their Transportation Improvement Plans, Long Range Transportation Plans, Safety Plans, Road and Bridge System Inventories, and Atlas Maps.I plan future projects with cost estimates for the 5 year Transportation Improvement Plans. Track contract and grant expenditures, invoices, and reimbursements.I meet with tribal, state, county and other transportation officials as well as architect and engineering firm personnel on transportation issues. I also represent the BIA at transportation related multi-agency partnership, steering committee, and other collaborative meetings, providing presentations, handouts and update reports on the BIA transportation program.Civil Engineer:Registered Profession Engineer (P.E.) in Arizona, Certified Bridge Inspector.I manage the BIA transportation system inventory, bridge inventory, and road maintenance performance management systems for the Western Region. I review plans, specifications, and estimates for various road construction, safety and maintenance projects. I also participate in field reviews of future and just constructed road and bridge projects.Systems Analyst: I am certified in SAN. I am experienced with complex computer networks: cost evaluation and ROI, design and implementation, administration and a management, and supervision of programmers and technicians. Windows, UNIX, and Linux.I am experienced with procurement. I write proposals, technical specifications, statements of work, and evaluation criteria for large information technology purchases.
