Many projects with OEMs and Tier 1s in the automotive sector to investigate areas such as: low friction engine oils and improving friction characteristics and lifetime of wet clutch fluids (ATF, DCT). Additionally working on marine projects and applications that fit into the wider Croda Energy Technologies group: Phase Change Materials (PCM), battery additives, dispersants and emissions control systems.

Managed a team of Applications scientists, testing automotive and industrial lubricants to ASTM standards as well as designing custom tribology test methods. Specialist in tribological proof of low friction energy efficient lubricants, especially lubricity additives and friction modifiers for industrial applications (metal working fluids, industrial gear oils, hydraulic fluids). My role involved project management, coordinating external testing as well as results from other internal functions such as PSRA and IP to ensure product launches happened on time and budget. Based at Cowick Hall in Croda Lubricants labs. The role also involved giving talks at conferences such as Oildoc and STLE.
