In 2013, I founded UrthPact with the vision that compostable materials would be a major industry disruptor in the plastics industry. I also recognized that it would take a company with proven engineering expertise to break through the technical obstacles that were known. By rethinking everything we knew about the injection molding process to work with compostable bioplastic materials, we built a company that became a pioneer in the compostable disposables industry.UrthPact is now the leader in compostable plastic manufacturing. We help brands create products and packaging from earth-friendly materials, protecting a world that needs it and championing a generation of consumers that demand it. UrthPact's Mission is to create a world where consumption leaves no footprint, and to keep 25 billion plastic pieces from reaching oceans and landfills by the year 2025.

I created Innovative Mold Solutions in 1997, after seeing a need in the US plastics industry for a design/engineering-driven resource to provide innovation and significant production improvements to combat the low cost of offshore manufacturing. Utilizing my engineering background, I started IMS as a design firm, specializing in designing and building high-speed, high-capacity, and low-cost injection molding systems. As IMS grew, we moved into the contract manufacturing space, and focused on creating products that others said were impossible to produce. Servicing the defense, medical, and consumer products industries, IMS continued to grow its portfolio of Fortune 500 customers.
