Previously, I led buildOn's work across the U.S. with amazing high school students to change the world through service. Prior to my time at buildOn, I taught middle school in Chicago’s public schools, primarily on the West and Northwest Sides. We achieved some important results, and I am most grateful for the opportunity to have grown with and learned from my students at least as much as they did from me.After growing up in Lincoln, Nebraska, I graduated with honors from Northwestern University and am proud to call Chicago home.
